Membership Contributions
Banbury District of Woodcraft Folk relies upon your regular donations to the cover the district’s costs. Our leaders generously give their time for free, but without your contributions we couldn’t cover these essential costs. Annually we have local district running costs along with central costs paid to Woodcraft Folk HQ. These cover everything from managing DBS, training, insurance and everything in between. On a weekly basis we have costs for hall hire and incidental costs for squash, art materials etc we use.
Pay as you go
From January 2025 we ask that if you are contributing on an ‘ad hoc’ (ie pay as you go) basis you contribute £5 / child / weekly session.
Termly
If you wish to contribute up from for each term, we request you contribute £24 / child / half-term. Whilst the terms vary slightly by the number of weeks if your child attends regularly this should give you a saving. In turn, the district benefits by more consistent money coming in.
Woodcraft Folk is open to everyone regardless of your circumstances. Please don’t let cost be a barrier. Please do come speak to leaders if this is of concern in any way. We want you to be part of what we do!
